About the NRBA
The New Rochelle Bar Association is a voluntary association of almost 400 attorneys, law students and legal professionals. The NRBA's mission is advanced by an energetic and dedicated Board of Directors who represent the valued diversity of the association.
For our members we provide welcoming networking opportunities and continuing legal education close to work and home. Our active calendar includes dinner meetings featuring discussion or timely legal topics or opportunities to meet members of our esteemed judiciary, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes on topics spanning a wide range of practice areas, and section meetings providing forums in which we can learn from our colleagues.
In our community we work to enhance the perception of the legal profession while providing valued services. We place "Lawyers in the Classroom" at a number of New Rochelle public schools. We participate in Law Day. And, through the generosity of our members, we have been able to provide students graduating from New Rochelle High School as well as students attending each of our local colleges with a scholarship to support their ability to explore the study of law.
Members are kept informed through frequent mailings, emails, periodic newsletters and web postings. And an annual membership directory is a convenient resource for members looking for contact information for a colleague or wishing to make a referral.
If you are not yet a member, we encourage you to join our membership which includes solo practitioners to partners at large firms, law students to retired attorneys, local, county and state judges and more.
